Throughout the year we host on-farm events including concerts, farm to table dinners, and tours! Check it out and reach out anytime with questions.
We are partnering with Rural Action and Trees for Graziers to host this silvopasture field day, as part of a 3-day SilvoPro Training. Attendees have the option to register for just this day of the training, in which we will tour our three silvopasture sites, do a mock tree planting, and get hands-on experience with various tree protection methods. This is great for anyone who is curious about this climate-smart practice, who works with producers to implement silvopasture, or who is considering adding silvopasture to their farm operation!
We welcome you to our third annual Summer Solstice Show to celebrate the summer season in community. We invite you to bring a lawn chair and listen to local bands who will perform from our front porch! We'll have food to share and invite you to bring sides and drinks, if you'd like. This is a free event, but donations will be encouraged to support the artists!
MoSo Farm and Chef Zach Morgan are eager to bring you this Farm to Table Dinner. This multi-course meal will feature fresh ingredients straight from the farm and partnering farms in the area. Farmers Molly Sowash and CJ Morgan will share their story and highlight the sustainable practices behind the food. Chef Zach Morgan will speak about each course and how the meal was thoughtfully crafted. We are excited to collaborate with family on this event, bringing brothers Zach and CJ together for an experience that features our local food system from production to preparation.
We are teaming up with the Ohio Ecological Food & Farm Association (OEFFA) to host a farm tour as part of their 2024 farm tour series. This is an informal way to get to know us and our farm. Attendees will walk all around the farm to see our beef cattle and pastures, our three separate silvopasture plantings, and our pastured pigs. We will also tour the old bank barn and vintage milking parlor on the property that we are converting into an on-farm store.
We are excited to celebrate the abundance of the harvest season in community! Come out to enjoy some local music on our front porch and sit beneath a beautiful night sky. Bring a lawn chair and food to share. This is a free event, but donations will be encouraged to support the artists!
