is community. And our community shows up in the pages of our newly released 2025 Annual Report — from photos of our events to this year’s Customers of the Year to our families who support our farming endeavors wholeheartedly.

We are excited to share this report with you, which highlights:

  • Our business’s output in meat sold, animals raised, sales increased
  • Our farm’s impact in local businesses supported and trees planted
  • Our month-to-month year in review
  • A story about the life of a pig on the farm
  • Most Valuable Player, Best Meal with Our Meat, Most Photogenic, etc.
  • Save-the-dates for events in 2026!

We hope this booklet brings you a little closer to our farm. After all, it is you — our customers and supporters — who keep this business going by investing in a local and regenerative food system every time you shop with us. Thank you.

What's behind "free from" marketing?

I made a smoothie the other morning and noticed on the package of frozen mangoes the words “FREE FROM” and in smaller print “unwanted ingredients.” After this vague phrase, it specified “no artificial sweeteners or flavors.” It made me pause. Has our food system become so full of ultra-processed foods that we have to specify when something as simple as frozen fruit is “free from” junk?

"Be the Cow"

We are overjoyed to share that we had our baby, Asa James Morgan, on April 19th. His birth was a long and unexpected journey, but we are healthy and enjoying slow, sleepy days at home.

A Grazier's Favorite Day of the Year

For our farm, it happened yesterday — the first day of grazing. This marks the kickoff to the growing season for us and it feels so good to see (and hear) the herd munching on lush pastures after they’ve been cooped up eating hay all winter.
